4. User Responsibilities

For Workers:

Provide truthful information about qualifications and experience
Maintain valid work permits and documentation
Communicate professionally with employers
Honor commitments made through the platform

For Employers:

Post accurate job descriptions and requirements
Comply with labor laws and regulations
Respond to candidates in a timely manner
Provide fair working conditions as described
Complete verification process honestly

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
Attempt to circumvent platform fees or processes
Scrape, copy, or misuse platform data
Use the platform for illegal activities
Impersonate others or create fake profiles
Spam or send unsolicited communications
Interfere with platform security or functionality

6. Fees and Payments

Basic access is free for workers
Employers pay subscription fees as listed on our Pricing page
All fees are in Euros and subject to applicable taxes
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
Refunds are provided according to our refund policy

7. Intellectual Property

GigaMatch and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a license to use it for providing our services.

8. Verification Process

Employers undergo a verification process including business registration check and video interview. This helps ensure platform safety but does not guarantee the legitimacy of any employer.

9. Limitation of Liability

GigaMatch is a platform connecting workers and employers. We are not party to employment agreements and are not responsible for:

Actions or conduct of users
Employment disputes or issues
Quality of work or workers
Accuracy of user-provided information
Lost profits or indirect damages

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
